I have been with the Bureau of Economic Analysis since late 2015, where I now work as a Senior Research Economist within the Office of the Chief Economist. Previously, I worked as a tenured Associate Professor of Economics at Longwood University where I taught from 2009 through 2015. I continue to teach a graduate course at George Washington University (formerly called Applied Microeconometrics, now Causal Inference and Research Design).
I am from Ohio originally, and I currently live in Northern Virginia with my wife (Kelly Wentland), daughters (Holly and Charlie). I try to update my personal website a few times a year. In case you found yourself here in search of one of my papers and cannot find it on Google Scholar, SSRN, or elsewhere, don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail. I would be glad to send you the latest draft of any of my current or past research.
