I have been with the Bureau of Economic Analysis since late 2015, where I work as a research economist within the Office of the Chief Economist. Previously, I worked as a tenured Associate Professor of Economics at Longwood University where I taught from 2009 through fall 2015. I continue to teach an online summer course at Longwood (Economics and Personal Finance) and a graduate course at George Washington University (Applied Microeconometrics).
I am from Ohio originally, and I currently live in Northern Virginia with my wife (Kelly Wentland), daughters (Holly and Charlie), and dog (Dagny).
I try to update my personal website a few times per year. In case you found yourself here in search of one of my papers and cannot find it on Google Scholar, SSRN, or elsewhere, don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail. I would be glad to send you the latest draft of any of my current or past research.
